Dina Lohan Pleads Not Guilty to DWI

Dina Lohan, 51, arrived in court Tuesday in New York to answer to drunk driving charges, and plead not guilty to driving while intoxicated.

A judge suspended her driver's license, while prosecutors claimed that her blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit at the time of the incident.

Lohan was pulled over just before midnight on September 12 for allegedly driving 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. According to reports, her blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit of .08.

Lohan celebrated her birthday just two days later with daughter Lindsay by her side.

Her lawyer released the following statement to ET after his client was arrested in September.

"She appreciates the grave seriousness of this matter and is mindful that the Nassau County District Attorney considers these types of cases a top priority. But as an attorney with 45 years of experience, I am confident that as a first time offender, with absolutely no prior record, that the Judicial System will treat Dina Lohan with even-handed fairness."
