Transgender Model Gets Support for VS Runway Gig

Transgender model Carmen Carrera has a dream to strut the runway of the Victoria's Secret fashion show next week, and thanks to a fan-backed campaign she just might get her wish.

"This has gone viral," said Carrera, who has more than 23,000 signatures in support of her runway bid. "My fans would say, 'Oh, girl, I could see you walking in the fashion show. I could see you doing Victoria's Secret. You should go for it.' ... It would make me feel good."

Carrera is perhaps best known for appearing on the Logo reality series RuPaul's Drag Race, where she perfected her runway sashay.
