Thousands gathered on Sunday afternoon for a memorial service to remember the late Paul Walker at the site in Santa Clarita, Calif. on which a fiery car crash took the 40-year-old actor's life.

Engines revved as an estimated 7,000 people showed up to mourn the loss of the Fast & Furious star. Droves of fans came with flowers, stuffed animals and candles to pay their respects.

The event concluded that evening with a drive through the area, which is 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
