The Trevor Project honored actress Jane Lynch with the Trevor Hero Award Sunday at their star-studded TrevorLIVE LA event in West Hollywood, Calif. Sunday, and clearly it wasn't just the organization that's enamored by the beloved Lynch, but her co-stars and Hollywood friends over the years as well -- who were all too happy to gush about their friend on the red carpet.

"Jane is all about equality, and she's very boisterous about what she feels politically -- she doesn't hide what she feels about what's going on in the world," her Glee co-star and recent Dancing with the Stars champ Amber Riley said. "And a lot of people are bystanders, and she's not. She's a very active person in what she believes in. ... She's such a wonderful person also."

Glee star Chris Colfer agreed.

"She's just a big shining light in everyone's lives," he smiled. "She's so funny, and if you're having the worst day of your life, she can make you smile. I think that's kind of a magical quality."

"She's the real deal," host Kathy Griffin put simply. "She lives it, she walks the walk and talks the talk."
