Paula Patton All Smiles Despite Split

Since announcing last week that their 20-year-long relationship was on the rocks, Robin Thicke has made it loud and clear that he's not happy and wants wife Paula Patton back. But Paula looked cheerful as can be as she hit the red carpet for the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday in Santa Monica, Calif.

Looking fantastic in a tight yellow lace minidress, Paula flashed a wide smile on the red carpet, and was poised and seemingly content as she took the stage with Jeremy Renner to present an award.

Robin told a packed house at his Fairfax, Virginia concert on February 27, "For y'all that don't know, me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman." It's anyone's guess whether the Blurred Lines singer will be able to convince the Mission Impossible beauty to reunite.

Paula and Robin announced their separation on February 24, saying in a joint statement, "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.” The couple have a 3-year-old son, Julian, together.
