Jenny McCarthy Drops Surprise Engagement News on 'The View'
Jenny McCarthy dropped some huge news on The View Wednesday, to the surprise of both the studio audience as well as her co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters and Sherri Shepherd -- the 41-year-old actress is engaged to Donnie Wahlberg, 44!
McCarthy even told the sweet story of how the former New Kids on the Block member proposed.

"This weekend I was sitting with Donnie ... and he went into the other room, and out came [my son] Evan with a card that said, 'Will,' and he handed it to me, and I didn't know what was going on yet, and Evan ran away and came back with a card that said 'You,' and then he ran away and I knew what was happening," she recalled. " ... And Donnie's shirt said 'Me' with a question mark. And I just started crying."
But perhaps the most touching moment?
"Evan yelled, 'I have another dad! I have another dad!’ It just made all of us cry," she said, choking back tears.
Jenny flashed her huge yellow sapphire ring, and Wahlberg himself then appeared to surprise her on the show!
As for a wedding date, McCarthy dished that they were thinking of August or even "stretching it out a year," which is when Walters made one offer the newly engaged couple probably can't resist.
"If you stretch it out a year, this might not work, but if you decide not to do it in August, but do it in September, I'll give the wedding in my apartment," she said.

McCarthy and Wahlberg have been dating since last summer. This will be the second marriage for both.
