'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Star Porsha Williams Charged With Battery

Bravo reality star Porsha Williams has turned herself in after an arrest warrant was issued stemming from a fight that took place during a 'Real Housewives' reunion special.

Is this a mugshot or a glamour shot?! The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Porsha Williams turned herself into the police earlier than anticipated, when a warrant was issued for her arrest.

The reality star was charged with misdemeanor battery against her RHOA co-star Kenya Moore. She was booked and released after posting bond, according to E! News.

The incident in question took place in March during the taping of the Bravo reality show's reunion special with Andy Cohen. According to reports, Moore, 43, and Williams, 31, antagonized each other until a physical altercation took place, which was quickly broken up and handled by producers.

"[Williams] is charged with one misdemeanor count of simple battery stemming from an incident that occurred during the taping of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion episode," Williams' attorney told ET. "Cast member Kenya Moore sought out the warrant and, although the claim is unfounded, Ms. Williams is fully cooperating with investigators and looks forward to clearing her name."

The reality star will appear for processing on Thursday, April 17, at the Fulton County jail in Atlanta, GA.

Her attorney adds, "Furthermore, several cast mates and witnesses report that it was clear that Kenya Moore was undoubtedly the primary aggressor in the incident. Thus, Ms. Williams, who has never been arrested before, intends to contest the pending misdemeanor and is currently pursuing felony charges against Kenya for Aggravated Assault."
