Paula Patton still has a 'deep love' for high school sweetheart Robin Thicke.

Paula Patton is opening up about her recent split from Robin Thicke in the June 2014
issue of Vanity Fair, and she doesn't close the door on a reconciliation between the two high school sweethearts.

Paula, 38, and Robin, 37, met at an 18-and-under nightclub in Los Angeles when she was just 15 and he was 14. Since then, the two have been together for more than two decades, and have one child together -- Julian Fuego, 4.

"We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there -- always was, and always will be," she said about the possibility of the two getting back together.

Robin, on the other hand, has made it no secret that he's trying to get Paula back.

"I want everybody here to know: I'm trying to get my girl back," he candidly told the audience at his show in Fairfax, Virginia in February, before dedicating his hit Lost Without U to her. "She's a good woman."

In the new interview, Paula also reveals a few romantic moments from the former couple's relationship to the magazine, including that the R&B star sang Jodeci's Forever My Lady to her in his dad Alan Thicke's living room before their first kiss.
