Sterling's attorney Maxwell Blecher tells The Associated Press that Sterling has agreed to sell the basketball team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for $2 billion.

Blecher went on to say that Sterling "has made an agreement with the NBA to resolve all their differences" and that the suit will be dismissed.

Sterling filed the suit last week alleging that the NBA violated his constitutional rights when they used his recorded conversation with V. Stiviano as grounds to forcibly strip him of his ownership interest in the Clippers.

In the audio recording, Sterling can be heard telling Stiviano not to post photos of herself with black people or to bring black friends to Clippers games.
