Stars Honor 'Timeless Beauty' Jane Fonda At AFI Lifetime Achievement Tribute

The stars came out to celebrate Jane Fonda as she received the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award.

After a career spanning six decades, 76-year-old Jane Fonda is still delivering some of the best performances in some of the hottest projects in Hollywood, and she's still an icon of style and beauty.

To celebrate her remarkable career, the American Film Institute honored her at the Dolby Theater with a Lifetime Achievement Award, making her only the eighth woman to ever receive the honor.

"When you look at the list of people who have received this, it's a short list," Fonda told ET on the red carpet before the ceremony. "I feel privileged to be part of it, it's a great experience."

Fonda's career and legacy has influenced a great number of other actors and performers, and many of Fonda's friends, current and former co-stars and admirers turned out to cheer her on during the event.

"She just does everything," said Catherine Zeta-Jones, who walked the carpet with her husband Michael Douglas. "[She is] an activist, a fitness guru, a mother, a wonderful actress, and she's just a timeless beauty."
