Siegfried and Roy welcomed ET into their Las Vegas home 11 years after the tiger attack that left Roy partially paralyzed.

"I got a stroke and I fell down, and I see these blue eyes staring looking at me," said Roy. "I was like, 'What now? What happened?'"

"He picked me up by the neck and got me to the side so he'd know I'd be safe -- like a mother with a cub. He took care of me."

Roy told us that had Mantecore not severed his artery to relieve the blood pressure, he could have gone brain dead.

Mantecore passed away about three months ago and Roy never blamed him for what happened. Roy even referred to Mantecore as "his brother."

Roy has never regained full use of his left side, but he and Siegfried have continued in their mission to help save rare wild animals from extinction. The magicians welcomed three white lion cubs -- Freedom, Timba-Masai and Madiba -- which will join the big cats at their Secret Garden habitat at The Mirage Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip starting Friday.
