Dancing With the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 34, and Kirstie Alley, 63, formed a memorably close friendship during their time together on season 12 of the hit ABC show, but according to Chmerkovskiy, the two are no longer speaking.

When asked by a caller during his appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live Tuesday if Kirstie had ever tried to convert him to Scientology, he surprisingly admitted that the two recently had a fallout.

"She stopped getting along with me," he laughed. "I think the world of her. I'm not judging people by their religion. ... I'm Jewish, and you know, I don't really believe in science fiction, but whatever. We had a great relationship."

"I thought we had a great relationship," he added, "and if it was something else or not, I don't know. But I got a message that now that I'm associating with other people that she can't be associated with, I am no longer to be spoken with, and sorry, but that is what it is."

Many are speculating that Chmerkovskiy is referring to actress Leah Remini, who appeared on Dancing with the Stars season 17 and made headlines when she publicly left the Church of Scientology earlier this year.

But he refused to get specific.

"I love people. I don't judge them ... my best friend is Muslim," he said. "I just feel like, you know, it's sad that we've gone through so much together, and I feel like I've helped her and this is where we're at now, but I still think the world of her and I wish her the best."
