Christina Aguilera Asks Fans to #PassTheRedCup to End World Hunger

Christina Aguilera is calling on her fans and fellow celebrities to help end world hunger.

The superstar is continuing her partnership with Yum! Brands World Hunger Relief effort for the "Pass The Red Cup" campaign, urging people to share #PassTheRedCup on their social media channels to raise awareness for global hunger and by donating $5 to help feed 20 children.

"Very soon I'll be the mother of two children and I'm so grateful that I can provide for them, but there are millions of moms around the world who can’t feed their kids," says Aguilera, who serves as an "Ambassador Against Hunger" for the UN World Food Programme (WFP). "This red cup is the symbol of hope for kids who receive one meal a day from the world food program."

In her role with the UN, Aguilera has traveled on relief trips to Guatemala, Haiti and Rwanda. She's been with the Yum! Brands World Hunger Relief effort since 2009, raising millions of dollars through appearances in PSAs; KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurant posters; and online efforts.

Every U.S. dollar raised through #PassTheRedCup will go directly towards WFP's operation to fight hunger. According to the United Nations, there are nearly one billion people around the world who are hungry. You can donate now at
