Ben McKenzie Rams Head Into Concrete While Filming 'Gotham'

Actor Ben McKenzie is having an eventful birthday weekend. While on set filming his upcoming Fox Series Gotham, a Batman prequel, yesterday, he rammed his head into concrete pillars. Today, he's sharing the photos from the hospital.

The first one shows him with a large bandage.

He writes, "Happy Birthday to me. Fight Sequence gone awry. Don’t ram your head into concrete pillars kids. #gotham"

Warning: Now this next one shows the blood under that big bandaid.

He writes, "Holy concrete wall, Batman! #gotham"

He ends his sequence by saying, "Doc Sherman at New York-Presbyterian, you are a career saver. Thanks for stitching me up nice. Back to work Monday. #gotham"

Mckenzie plays the role of a young James Gordon. Gordon will meet Bruce Wayne before Wayne becomes Batman, and Gordon will fight gang boss Fish Mooney and Gotham's villians. The series will air on September 22.

It sure looks like he'll put up a mean fight!
