Now a retired figure skater, Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan rarely gets to lace up her ice skates these days, but she returned to ice with ET's Nischelle Turner.

For Nischelle, this was her first time on the ice ever and she couldn't ask for a better teacher.

"Bend and push your foot out," Nancy instructed. "That'll stop you."

"Well, we'll see," Nischelle joked.

Even Nancy's 6-year-old daughter Nicole got in on the act. Judging by the way she zipped around Trump Rink in Central Park, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Nancy told us that her two boys Matthew, 16, and Brian, 9, also know their way around the ice, and they will join their mom and sister for ABC's Musselman's Apple Sauce Family Skating Tribute show, airing Sunday.

The family-themed skating show, co-hosted by 1992 Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and three-time U.S. champion Michael Weiss, will also feature two-time Olympic gold medalist Ekaterina Gordeeva and 1998 Olympic gold medalist Ilia Kulik.
