While Gwen Stefani acknowledges that all of her children are exceptionally smart and adorable, she admits that they aren't always the most well-behaved.

"It gets crazy," the 45-year-old Voice judge tells Ellen. "Everybody knows that 4-8 at night is like chaos. It's like the crazy time in our house. The other day we were driving home and I was thinking, 'Ok Motel 6. If I can just find one and go there and disappear -- disappear from my life.' But no, they're incredible."

Gwen has three children with husband, 49-year-old English musician and actor Gavin Rossdale: Kingston, 8, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 9 months. The two said "I do" 12 years ago, and Gwen says that contrary to what some gossip headlines would have you believe, their relationship is intact.

"Like everybody else we go through our cycles of being so happy and then being like, 'Oh my gosh.' And then being so happy it's crazy," Gwen says. "I mean I can't believe that I've known him as long as I have and we still have fun together. He left today to go on a week tour and he hasn't been doing that for a while. It feels weird. Like, 'Oh my gosh, when I go home I'm actually going to go right to sleep.' It's weird. It's crazy to have the little bit of freedom, but I'll miss him."

Gavin's band, Bush, released their latest album, Man on the Run, in October. Gwen just released her new Pharrell-produced single, "Spark the Fire," to be featured on her third solo album due out next month. Check out the single below.
