On the day after Christmas, Jennifer Lawrence was named the highest grossing actor of the year with, according to Forbes, a global box office worth of $1.4 billion.
So how did the top grossing star celebrate this news? Lawrence, 24, was back home in Louisville, Ky. on Dec. 27 where she lent her support to the Louisville Cardinals during a basketball game against the Kentucky Wildcats.
The Hunger Games actress has shown her pride for the team before in a video for the university's move to the Atlanta Coast Conference.
"I grew up in the Derby City, home to a proud and storied university, filled with rich athletic tradition and packed with fans who are as loyal and passionate as any in college sports," she said. "The ‘L' is the sign that connects all of us to one strong and united Card Nation."
Not only did she spend her time cheering on her basketball team this week, but on Christmas Eve, she stopped by the Kosair Children's Hospital to spread some holiday cheer to young patients.
No matter the amount of money she's earning, Lawrence shows us that going home for the holidays is what's truly priceless.
