"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family," the family tells ET in a statement. "As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."
On Saturday morning, Bobbi Kristina's rumored husband Nick Gordon and a friend reportedly found her unconscious in a bathtub at her Georgia home.
Officer Lisa Holland told ET in a statement that after Bobbi Kristina was found, "[Nick] started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. [Bobbi Kristina] was transported to the hospital." Once checked in to North Fulton Hospital, Bobbi Kristina was said to be breathing and stabilized. She was later reportedly placed in a medically induced coma, and a source exclusively told ET that she was on a ventilator.

"It's really about protecting the organs and making sure oxygen is delivered to both the brain and the heart," Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, a cardiologist and director of the Women's Heart Health of Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, told ET when explaining why someone in Bobbi Kirstina's condition would be placed on a ventilator.
A source close to the family tells ET that her loved ones have been advised to prepare for the worst and that the longer Bobbi Kristina remains in the coma, the more likely it is that she will not regain consciousness. And so the family is doing that, praying for her recovery, but they have also started to discuss how they would handle funeral arrangements.

This incident comes nearly three years after Whitney was found dead of accidental drowning in a hotel bathtub in Los Angeles, in which drugs and heart disease were also said to have played a part.
Local police are continuing a investigation as to what happened in the home, they have acquired a search warrant and swept the residence for drugs. While a source tells ET that this was not a suicide attempt, another person close to the family said it was "no coincidence" Bobbi Kristina was found under circumstances similar to those of her mother's death.
