As Bobbi Kristina Brown's family hopes for a miracle, hundreds of family members, friends and community members gathered at the Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Ga. to offer songs and prayer for the 21-year-old and her family.
The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is fighting for her life after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell home on Jan. 31. Bobbi Kristina remains on life support at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
While a close family friend said Bobby Brown was more hopeful today and that the family was feeling more optimistic, relatives did not offer any official updates on Bobbi Kristina’s condition. Vocalists at the event, dubbed "Shining a Light of Healing for Bobbi Kriss," sang hymns and spirituals as local pastors and public officials offered prayers for healing and strength.
ET confirms that at least three members of the Brown family, Bobby’s sister Tina, nephew Shayne and brother Tommy were in attendance at the vigil. Last week, Bobbi Kristina’s family released a statement on her condition.
"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family," the Houston family said in a statement. "As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."
