'Price Is Right' Model Speaks Out on 'The Biggest Mistake Ever'

CBS

Talk about a work mistake!

She made someone by happy by giving away a car, but she didn't mean to.

While we all make mistakes, Price is Right model Manuela Arbelaez made one on television when she accidentally revealed a car's price before contestant Andrea could guess it.

The contestant exclaimed, "I won it!" but host Drew Carey's mouth dropped, and now Arbelaez is explaining what really happened when she heard the buzzer go off.

Arbelaez spoke to Inside Edition on Friday and called it "the biggest mistake I ever made on the show."

"I was on autopilot. After I heard the buzz I thought, okay, the game was over. What I didn't realize was that she had two more chances," Arbelaez said.

Afterwards, the 26-year-old had a couple of thoughts run through her mind. "I thought, A: This is my last day at work. B: They're going to take it out of my paycheck every week. I thought that was it for me."

And while Carey's face was one of shock, he was not mad about it. "Drew could not have been more supportive," she said. "Same with the producers. They embraced it and said, 'We're not going to pick it out. We're going to air it as it happened.'"
