'OITNB' Star Uzo Aduba & More Celebs Run Boston Marathon
Orange Is the New Black star Uzo Aduba, The Lord of the Rings star Sean Astin and former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie were among the sea of 30,000 runners who competed in the Boston Marathon on Monday, and Uzo in particular was there to win, but not in the way you might think.

In Uzo's own words, she was running to "kick cancer's ass." In honor of her friends and family affected by cancer, the actress teamed up with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for her second marathon to fund research. Copper actor Kevin Ryan also backed up a cause, running for the Boston based Hopkinton Center for the Arts.
