'Tonight Show' Announcer Steve Higgins Does a Shockingly Good Impression of Singer Shaggy

Looking at The Tonight Show announcer Steve Higgins, you wouldn't know that he has the voice of a Jamaican reggae fusion singer buried deep within him.

Host Jimmy Fallon
revealed that Higgins does one of the best impressions of "Boombastic" singer Shaggy that he's ever witnessed -- and on Thursday it was time for the late-night audience to see for themselves.

The Tonight Show
brought on Shaggy to go up against Higgins in what Fallon referred to as a "Shaggy Off." Higgins found out if he's actually better at talking like Shaggy than Shaggy himself.

It was a tight race because even when the 46-year-old musician upped his game by going "old school," Higgins just got even more Shaggy-fied.

The duo rounded out the sing-off by both performing Shaggy's hit "It Wasn't Me," and even changed the lyrics to "it wasn't us."
