Recently the 'RHONY' star opened up about her past relationship missteps.

While Bethenny Frankel has it all figured out when it comes to finding success in the areas of fame, fortune and business, The Real Housewives of New York star admits that she still struggles when it comes to one very important aspect of her life: love.

In an interview with Haute Living New York, Frankel says that she's not great at picking partners.

"My therapist would say that I don't suck at relationships and that I give it my all, but if I had to be honest, I think I suck at choosing the right people for me," Bethenny revealed. "I don't think that I actually suck when I'm in a relationship, but I think that I haven't gone with my gut enough."

"I've made decisions out of fear," she added. "Which is the biggest mistake people can make. You have to make decisions out of truth."

In an attempt to help others with their relationship woes, the RHONY star chronicled parts of her love life -- including her 2013 divorce from Jason Hoppy -- in her new book I Suck at Relationships So You Don't Have To.

"I hope that people learn from my mistakes," Bethenny said, explaining her decision to write a book on relationships. "I really feel that I have a gift for communicating what I'm going through, and I definitely feel like people can hear my voice and that I can help them. Learn from my mistakes! I am very, very well aware of what my mistakes are."

While Bethenny is confident in her ability to give sound advice, she revealed that she's also welcomed some pretty great advice as well -- specifically when it comes to living in the media spotlight.

"Ellen DeGeneres said to me, 'Don't buy into the good and don't buy into the bad.' So don't get all excited that everyone loves you and upset that everyone hates you," Bethenny shared. "I've never had someone personally come up to me and say something negative."
