Sure, the "Roar" singer is known for her ever-changing colorful hair but we've never seen her like this!
Posing for British-based Wonderland magazine, the 30-year-old pop star rocked a very '80s-inspired beach blonde 'do that had everyone wondering if she really dyed her hair blonde.

So did she?
Don't get too excited, an insider at the mag tells ET that Katy's dramatic new looks are all thanks to magic of wigs. However, the singer did dye her eyebrows for the shoot.
Those blonde brows really made her bright red wigs look even more intense and high-fashion.

Katy, who was super fun and energetic on the shoot, snacked on vegan goodies from Cafe Gratitude and had her new adorable puppy on hand to keep things lively.
As for the noir-inspired video above, it's titled "InMotion" and was shot by Christian Oita exclusively for the art magazine, Katy donned all Chanel for her ride in the vintage gold 1966 El Camino.
The German artist, photographer and director -- who also photographed Katy for the mag -- composed the original score for the video as well.
