Rita Ora Explains Breakup From Calvin Harris: 'I Thought He Had My Back'
Is Rita Ora warning Taylor Swift about Calvin Harris?
The British pop star dated the 31-year-old music producer for about a year and shares withMarie Claire magazine what led to their breakup.
"There was a reason why I split up with him. And there was a reason why I'm at this point in my life where I feel like I have so much musical freedom, and I don’t have to explain myself to anybody," she says. "It was more of a thing where I was in awe. I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong. I thought he had my back and that he’d never steer me wrong."

The 24-year-old singer said after she finished working with Harris on "I Will Never Let You Down," he sort of let her down. "Everything started to go a bit weird," she tells the women's publication. "I don't know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what."
Harris has since moved on from Ora, and has been packing on the PDA with mega-star Swift, 25. The two were first spotted together in March.

Ora -- who also dated Rob Kardashian -- continued to open up about her dating life to Marie Claire.
"I'm afraid of being alone… I'm not afraid to admit that, you know," she says. "I just hope it's not a never-ending cycle. Sometimes love just makes you feel crazy. And that feeling that we have as girls, just to have that feeling, even for five seconds, it's like crack. I mean, don't compare it to that, but you know what I mean. It's like comfort eating."

While Ora doesn't seem to be so friendly with her ex, Ellie Goulding -- who was also rumored to have dated Harris in 2013 -- claims she set Swift up with the musician.
"I did play matchmaker, that's true," Goulding told The Sun, adding that she thought the two would be compatible based on their personalities as well as their height. "Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love."
