It's a message we can all read into.

Taylor Swift is great at getting her point across without specifically mentioning names.

The "Shake It Off" singer was performing in Glasgow on Tuesday as part of her 1989 World Tour, and she told the crowd about her love for the Scottish.

"This is my first time playing in Glasgow and you sold this place out in seconds," she said. "I happen to love Scottish people, personally."

It just so happens that her man Calvin Harris is, yep, Scottish!

In fact, although the 31-year-old goes by his stage name Calvin Harris, his real name is Adam Richard Wiles and he was born in Dumfries, Scotland in 1984.

And Scottish heritage is just another thing to add to the list of what this adorable duo has in common.

Swift explained to the audience that her father e-mailed her ahead of the show and told her "you have to tell them that" your whole family is from there.
