'Bachelor in Paradise' Stars Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul Reportedly Get Married in Secret Ceremony
By John Boone
These former Bachelor/ette contestants were going to find love one way or another.
Lacy Foddoul competed on season 18 of The Bachelor and failed to win the heart of Juan Pablo Galavis. (Dodged a bullet there.) Later, Marcus Grodd was ultimately passed over by Foddoul’s fellow contestant Andi Dorfman on season 10 of The Bachelorette.
But who needs a rose? The two met on Bachelor offshoot Bachelor in Paradise last year, fell in love, got engaged on the show, and, according to multiple reports, were secretly married this week!
E! News reports that the couple tied the knot on the first day of filming the new season of Bachelor in Paradise, almost exactly one year after they got together in season one. Naturally, host with the most Chris Harris officiated.
This lines up with what the couple has said in the past. Faddoul previously told People, “Our wedding is planned for this year in 2015 -- hopefully in the summertime.” She’s also always said she wants the Bachelor Nation be involved.
Guess we’ll have to tune in on August 2 to watch them swap their vows.
Grodd and Faddoul have been tight lipped on social media, though Grodd did Instagram -- then delete -- a photo of Lacy on Thursday. According to Us Weekly, he captioned it, "Happy 1 year anniversary honey buns! Crazy to think I had a ring in my pocket this time last year without her having a clue. Whatcha getting ready for?"
Now the post is gone. The latest news on their social media is that Marcus apparently got in a fender-bender...with Lacy:
