"So excited for @jillmdillard & @derickdillard! They've been praying about and working towards this transition since late last year, and are so excited to finally be heading to the mission field!" Jill's sister Jessa Duggar -- who's pregnant with her first baby with husband Ben Seewald -- wrote on Instagram. "Please continue to pray for them!"

It's not known where the couple are to complete their mission work but some fans are thinking Nepal.

Before shipping out, Jill and Derick celebrated the Fourth of July with the Duggar family.

In a recent blog post, Derick, 26, explained why they're choosing to move out of the country.

"We have a deep love and care for all of the world and a real passion for those in the nations, as many have even seen in the early stages of our relationship," he wrote. "We don't expect this new adventure to always be easy. But God never promised that following Him wouldn't have its challenges."

Derick and Jill's decision to travel overseas comes after the Duggars broke their silence about the molestation allegations against Josh Duggar. It was thought the sisters would get a 19 Kids and Counting spin-off series, but recent reports have shot down that claim.
