Following a blink-and-you-missed-it tease earlier this month, Fox aired the first official trailer for the anticipated six-episode X-Files revival during Thursday’s Wayward Pines – and it’s as X-Files-y as you can get.

The promo, which clocks in at just 15 seconds, opens with a shot of uniformed men ready to aim their rifles as they march toward something or someone?
Other moments include a shot of two lifeless bodies being dragged out of a dark room and the all-too-brief reunion of Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson).

But the real question is: Why is the “I Want to Believe” poster on the floor?!
The X-Files reboot will welcome back favorites Mitch Pileggi (Walter Skinner) and William B. Davis (The Smoking Man), along with new cast members such as Joel McHale, who will play a conservative news anchor.
