Divorce rumors surrounding Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith already caused the 46-year-old actor himself to set the record straight on Monday, and now Alfonso Ribeiro is standing up for his pals!
Will's 43-year-old Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star talked to ETonline at the ABC TCA press tour, where he took a moment to offer a passionate defense of Will and Jada's marriage.

"Well, I haven’t talked to him since all of that simply because there's no reason to," said Alfonso, when asked if he'd reached out to Will since his Facebook post. "I find it really interesting. The media typically will put out there that they always want to tear people a part. I don’t understand the fascination with trying to make couples break up. And I think really what I think it is is when a couple doesn't mirror their own way about thinking about a relationship, then something must clearly be wrong."
"Every relationship is different. And they have an amazing relationship," he continued. "So it was nice for him to finally come out and say something and just put it to rest because every year, they're [supposedly] getting a divorce."
"Clearly, they're not getting a divorce," the actor concluded. "And I've spent a lot of time with Will and Jada and so there's no story there."
