Kerry Washington Has Sympathy for Lenny Kravitz's NSFW Wardrobe Malfunction

While Lenny Kravitz may have suffered one of the most embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions in recent memory, he's not the only star who's been betrayed by their clothing.

ET caught up with the effortlessly classy Kerry Washington at ABC's All-Star Summer TCA Party on Tuesday where the Scandal star shared her own story of a very close call with an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.

"One time on my way to the SAG Awards, we pulled my zipper up and the zipper broke! And I was presenting the first award of the night," Kerry recalled of her panic-inducing clothing snafu just before the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. "So I ran to a seamstress and she literally sewed me into the dress and I missed the carpet completely."

"If you look at the footage you can see me running past the carpet," Kerry added, laughing.

Kerry also shared that when she finally took the stage with Jamie Foxx, she was literally panting, having almost missed the event entirely. But despite the broken dress, she still looked flawless.
