In honor of their 39th year of marital bliss, Robin posted a five-minute video on Facebook at midnight, where it quickly got more than 40,000 views. Robin started planning the clip nine days prior to their Aug. 13 anniversary, and Dr. Phil was baffled by how she was able to keep it from him.

"I'm just sitting there like, 'I cannot believe that she did this and smuggled it by me,'" Dr. Phil said. "I had no idea."

Dr. Phil told ET how his wife surprised him with the video, which is set to Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud."

"She says, 'It's 12 o'clock. I got to come show you something!'" Dr. Phil told ET. "So she comes and pulls it up on the computer and it pops up on her Facebook. And she says, 'I made this for you for our anniversary!' I said, 'What? I thought we redid our bedroom for our anniversary.'"

Everything in the video holds special meaning for the couple. Robin wears the same veil in the video as the one she wore when they said "I do," and she chose Sheeran's popular single because of the lyrics.

"'The heart will fall hard at 23,'" Robin said, quoting the song. "I was 23 when we got married."

"She has always been the queen of creative," Dr. Phil said. "She's created our home. She's created our family, and she's done it all from love."
