Amid the summer of breakups, Ellen DeGeneres reminds us some love lasts.
When her name was called as the winner of the Choice Comedian award at Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, Ellen first gave her wife, Portia de Rossi, a sweet kiss, then took a moment to specifically thank her in her acceptance speech."
“What an amazing day this is. This is my seven-year wedding anniversary, so happy anniversary,” she smiled, casting a sweet look in de Rossi’s direction. “It's yours, too."

Before that shout out, Ellen sent a special message to any teens who may be going through a rough time right now. "It feels good to be chosen, but there was a time in my life where I was not chosen,” she said. “I was the opposite of chosen because I was different.”
"I think I want to make sure that everyone knows that what makes you different right now makes you stand out later in life," she continued. "You should be proud of being different. You should be proud of who you are."
Ellen went on to encourage those teens to "really embrace" who they are. “Because being unique is very, very important, and fitting in is not really all that matters,” she said. “It's being unique and being who you are."
