Blake Shelton Teases an 'Important' New Song He Wrote After Miranda Lambert Split

Looks like new Blake Shelton music is on the way.
The 39-year-old singer, who split with wife of four years, Miranda Lambert, in July, tweeted out today that he, "Wrote a song so important to me I can't believe it.. Thank you Jon Randall and @JessiLAlexander..."
Randall and Alexander have both worked with Shelton in the past, and even co-wrote his 2011 hit, "Drink on It."
Shelton has kept his spirits up amid the divorce drama, even cracking to ET two days after the split was announced that he needed "a little vodka" in his drink. "I thought I'd get it started early, It's been one of those weeks,” he said candidly.
Even so, Shelton's friend Luke Bryan indicated that The Voice coach is doing OK in light of the divorce.
"Blake and I have talked a little bit," he said. "A divorce out of the public eye is a tremendous thing to have to deal with, so when they're in the public eye, you just hope they're doing good and you hope they're happy at the end of the day."
And although divorces are never fun, Blake and Miranda are still able to joke around, even with the split being so fresh. When Blake pushed around a baby stroller to mess with paparazzi, Miranda tweeted at him, "I knew it.... You WERE pregnant! This calls for a drink!"
