"People are always joking that they would give a kidney for a pair of Yeezy's!!" he wrote. "Well here's your chance, I'm 26 with 2 failing kidneys."
Neal, who lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, said he has been on dialysis for two years. In follow-up Facebook posts, Neal revealed that the waitlist for a kidney transplant in his home state is as long as five to seven years.
West and Kardashian were moved by Neal's story, which has since gone viral. The two said that if he makes the trade, they will give Neal a brand new pair of the covetable, hard-to-find kicks, according to TMZ.
The bad news is that under federal law, offering money or merchandise in return for an organ is illegal. The good news, however, is that since his Facebook proposal, Neal's story has connected with people all over the world and many are offering to help for free. His story may even being raising awareness for others in need of kidneys.
"If I could get 5 people kidneys besides myself and raise awareness about being an organ donor than this will be more than with it!" Neal wrote on Saturday.
Kardashian, 34, has been on the good deed track this month. On August 23, the pregnant reality star brought her 5-year-old nephew, Mason Disick, with her to visit a fan named Anissa, who Kim said she met through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
