Caitlyn Jenner and Candis Cayne had reason to celebrate when they hit the town for a girls' night out on Thursday.
The I Am Cait stars were spotted at the French restaurant Fig & Olive in West Hollywood, and ET can exclusively report that the women were there for a belated birthday dinner for Cayne, who turned 44 on August 29. The intimate group of friends dined on dinner and dessert in celebration of the former Dirty Sexy Money actress.

For the night out, Jenner chose an all-black outfit that she paired with a black and white Moschino jacket. Cayne stepped out in a bright blue mini-dress and heels.
The style-savvy ladies were seen leaving together, but ET's source says Jenner and Cayne are "not dating," but rather just "good friends."

"Caitlyn is doing really well. Caitlyn is inspiring for a lot of people," the source said. "She's so nice and so fun to be around! It's nice to have people like that sharing humanity."
No reality show cameras were rolling during the dinner, but they were on hand when Jenner and Cayne were first seen out together during New York LGBT Pride in June.
