Nick Jonas is opening up about those Kate Hudson romance rumors, after the pair was spotted hanging out together in Florida last month, and it doesn't sound like he's ready to settle down anytime soon.

"I'm 23, single and loving life," Jonas tells ET Canada in a new interview. "And in a moment, I'm just trying to have as much fun as possible... I do live a public life and, for whatever reason, people are interested in that."
He adds jokingly: "I think my life is not that interesting.”

The Scream Queens actor has been hard at work not only on set (he also stars in the DirecTV boxing drama, Kingdom), but in the recording studio. Jonas recently unveiled his new song, "Levels," as the first taste of his forthcoming LP.
"'Levels' is a pretty good indication of the direction for the record. You know, there's more of that soul and R&B influence," he says, "and I think as far as when you can expect it, the beginning of next year at some point."
Jonas split from girlfriend Olivia Culpo in June after about two years of dating. It was during their relationship that Jonas penned his biggest hit to date, "Jealous."
"That song 'Jealous' and that whole record came out of me feeling the most free I've felt, without the concerns of if it would be successful or not," the singer admits. "And then it was a song that really changed my life and career."
