We already got a first look at a modern day Bridget Jones. Now here’s our first look at her baby. Well, kind of.
Renee Zellweger, reprising her infamous role 11 years after the last Bridget Jones sequel, The Edge of Reason, was spotted on set in London, sporting a baby bump and “Baby on Board” pin, while shooting a scene with longtime onscreen best friend, Shazza (Sally Philips).

Bridget Jones’s Baby, which hits theaters on Sept. 16, 2016, won’t follow the plot of the books, which -- SPOILER ALERT! -- killed offColin Firth’s character, Mark Darcy. Firth will be back as Bridget’s husband for this outing too, while Patrick Dempsey joins the franchise as a yet unknown character.
There is one face we won’t be seeing again: Hugh Grant, as Bridget’s playboy ex-boyfriend, Daniel Cleaver. He explained in an interview, "I decided not to do it, but I think they're going to go ahead and do it without Daniel.”
“The book's excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different,” Grant continued. “Well, the script as I last saw it a few years ago."
Now, find out more about the latest Bridget Jones film -- and why she swapped her diary for an iPad!
