The 'How to Get Away With Murder' star must be one proud mama.
While many toddlers want to dress up like a character from Frozen or any number of other princesses for Halloween, Viola Davis' daughter was not one of those girls!
The How to Get Away With Murder star revealed that her 4-year-old daughter, Genesis, opted for a look that didn't fall far from the family tree.

“So…..the Elsa costume? Didn’t work for her. The Pirate? A no go. So she finally said,” I just want to be YOU mommy”! So… uhh….this is ME,” Davis wrote on Instagram on Saturday.
The sweet photo showed off Genesis' huge smile as she dressed up in a white dress with held a gold statue in her hand.
Genesis has been quite vocal about how proud she of her mom, no more so than right after Viola made history by becoming the first African-American woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series .
The little girl “hacked” into onto her mom’s Instagram following her speech and left her an adorable message.

"I love you, mommy!" she said in the video, posted in September. "And I hope you win another Emmy, and you're my favorite girl, and you are it! I love you!"
