George Clooney grabbed a bite for a good cause!
The 54-year-old actor visited the Social Bite sandwich shop in Edinburgh, Scotland on Thursday morning, which donates all of its profits to local efforts against homelessness. While there, the Oscar winner met and palled around with the staff, and reportedly left about $1,000 for the cause.
An employee at Social Bite tells ET that George, who is in town for the Scottish Business Awards this evening, was visiting the shop to raise awareness for their organization.

"We are a charity that feeds and employs the local community here in Edinburgh," the employee said. "He was very lovely to the staff and looked like he was having a very nice time. He donated some money to buy meals for the needy. Everyone here was excited."
George, who is doing a talk at the Edinburgh International Conference Center tonight, was not joined by his wife, Amal, at the shop.
