"I have a mean girl. She's in the business, and she's very, very mean," Thorne said. "I stay away from her at all costs. I never say hello to her. Her siblings are not mean like she is. It's just her."
Explaining how the girl got on her bad side, The Duff actress added, "One of the reasons I don't like her is because she's been a billionaire since she was very little, and she's never had to work for anything in her life."
In Midnight Sun, Thorne plays a 17-year-old girl who's been sheltered since childhood and confined to her house by a rare disease that makes even the smallest amount of sunlight deadly. Fate intervenes when she meets Charlie (Schwarzenegger) and they embark on a summer romance.
"It was the weirdest thing I've ever experience in my life," Thorne told ET of shooting intimate scenes with Schwarzenegger. "We're running these scenes and all of a sudden he puts his hand on my leg and I'm like, 'Your arms around me. I really didn't see this for us, but okay. I'm going with it. This is cool.'"
