A source close to Big Ang tells ET that her cancer has returned.
Devastating news for Mob Wives star Angela "Big Ang" Raiola -- her throat cancer has returned after she underwent two major surgeries earlier this year.
A source close to Raiola, 55, confirms to ET that doctors found another lump that's "definitely cancerous" during a routine checkup last week. The VH1 star will find out more about the severity of her condition in a follow-up appointment, though the source tells ET it's "very serious."
Raiola was first diagnosed with a lemon-sized tumor in her throat in March. A week later, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor and all the lymph nodes on the left side of her throat, and then in June, she underwent the same surgery on the right side of her throat.

The Insider caught up with Raiola and her husband, Neil Murphy, in the spring, when Murphy said his wife was cancer-free. The couple also revealed that they both quit smoking.
"I stopped the day I found out [about my diagnosis]," Raiola said, who was a smoker for 40 years. "I just stopped at that second. I didn't think I would ever be able to quit smoking in my life."
Despite the recent sad news about her health, Raiola appears to be putting on a brave face. On Sunday, she Instagrammed a photo of herself smiling and mixing drinks.
"Come visit me my loves," she wrote. "I'm sending a birthday shout out to my girl @dianegattullo and I'm mixing up a few! I'm at Tryst in Bay Ridge all night xxoo."
She's also taking time to give back this holiday season. On Saturday, she Instagrammed photos of herself participating in a Toys for Tots event.
"I want to thank our service men and women who defend our freedom everyday so we can have Merry Christmases," she wrote. "I was blessed to spend some time with them last night as well."

Late last month, HGTV Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa revealed he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer after a fan spotted a lump on his neck. Ryan Read, a registered nurse, wrote in to the show after noticing that something may be wrong.
