Nicole Richie Responds to Divorce Rumors With 'Mrs. Madden' Sweatshirt
Nicole Richie is making her relationship status a fashion statement.
The former Simple Life star and her husband of five years, Joel Madden, faced several divorce rumors this year, but she's still proud to be a wifey.

On Monday, Richie shared a selfie of her wearing a sweatshirt that read "Mrs. Madden" that was gifted to her by a few friends. "Dear @derekblasberg and @nickbrown85 I know Instagram speaks louder than words to you," she wrote. "So THANK YOU for keeping me warm, and never letting me forget who I am. #TheMrs @kellysawyer ❤️❤️."
Richie, 34, and Madden, 36, have been married since 2010 but have not been seen on a red carpet together since July of this year. However, they have been posting pics of one another to Instagram.
Last week, Richie shared an image of the two at the Broad Museum, writing: "Interstellar Dreams."
On Monday night, the Good Charlotte rocker also posted a pic of his family with the caption: "Me and my three."
In May, the couple fueled reports that they were on the verge of a split after Nicole was spotted without her wedding ring and moving vans pulled up outside their home in Los Angeles, California. A source told ET that the couple was actually moving their family into the same private community as Joel's brother, Benji Madden, and his wife, Cameron Diaz.
