Grease is the word!

That phrase has never sounded so smooth as when harmonized to perfection by Boyz II Men. The trio announced on Wednesday via Twitter that together they'd be taking on the role of Teen Angel(s) in Fox's upcoming production of Grease: Live.

The singers will step into the shoes of Frankie Avalon for the iconic cameo, which occurs during Frenchy's "Beauty School Dropout" scene in the 1978 film. In Fox's live production, Carly Rae Jepsen is taking on the role of Frenchy.

"I think the dance scenes are the most challenging for me, coming from a history of no dance background," Jepsen told ET in an interview on Tuesday. "But luckily I have a very strong partner, and a very big dress, so I'm just going to hide whatever I'm doing underneath, and hope to pull it off."

Co-star Keke Palmer (Pink Lady Marty) teased the Teen Angel guest appearance during ET's visit to the set. "We have a very amazing guest coming in for Teen Angel which I think everybody is going to be really excited and thrilled about," she said, keeping mum on the details. "We don't want to get fired!" Kether Donohue (Pink Lady Jan) chimed in.

Grease: Live, also starring Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens, airs Sunday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
