Is America's Sweetheart revealing her "rude" side?
That seems to be the hot take on Jennifer Lawrence after this 23-second clip from the Golden Globes press room went viral overnight. In various parts of the Interweb, the Joy actress's interaction with a reporter has been called an "outburst." Others have said she "slammed" the journalist, "called him out" or "scolded him."
Here is the video as it has been circulated:

EXCLUSIVE: Jennifer Lawrence Reveals What Amy Schumer Whispered to Her After Golden Globes Win
A foreign reporter -- this is an event thrown by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, after all -- begins to ask a question and Lawrence interrupts to comment on his phone use. Here is a transcript of the moment:
Reporter: "How do see yourself for the Oscars night?"
Lawrence: "You can't live your whole life behind your phone, bro."
Reporter: "Huh?"
Lawrence: "You just can't do that. You gotta live in the now, you know?"
Reporter: "Oh, sorry! Sorry. [Laughs] How do you see yourself for the Oscar night, and how was working--"
Lawrence: "We're at the Golden Globes. If you put your phone down, you'd know that."
It seems like a safe assumption to say the 25-year-old actress was joking with him. Perhaps she could have been more patient as he got his question out, but her "live in the now" comment is clearly sarcasm. Her humor is dryer than in previous years, but the reporter even laughs a number of times at her responses.
Meanwhile, people online have made assumptions of their own, presuming that the reporter does not speak English well and that he must have needed to read his questions off his phone, despite him never appearing on camera.
Those people are now calling Lawrence out:

More importantly, it's not the whole exchange. It's only the first half.
Here is Lawrence's entire press room Q&A, where, for context, the Golden Globe winner fielded such questions as, "Who is your least favorite Real Housewife?" and "If you have an extra body part, what would it be?" The reporter in question got the last question of the night. Fast forward to 5:05 below:
What's not show in the viral clip is the reporter laughing heartily after he's "called out" and asking his follow-up question, "How was working with Édgar Ramírez?" Which Lawrence promptly answers, saying, "Working with Édgar was wonderful."
"He is so sweet. He's great, a terrific actor. I mean, doing scenes with him is phenomenal," she added. "He really helped me with Spanish. All of it's gone now. But I loved working with Édgar. When we had our reading together -- you know, we read with so many amazing actors -- and the moment Édgar left, we were like, 'That's the one. There he is.'"
