It's a sad day for Celine Dion.
When news broke that her husband and former manager, René Angélil, died on Thursday at 73 after a long battle with throat cancer, the stars immediately took to social media to share their grief and show their support for the Canadian singer’s family.

Songwriter Diane Warren, who penned many songs for Dion, including her Grammy-winning hit "Because You Loved Me," thanked Angélil.

Former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams offered prayers.

Little Giants actor Devan Sawa, who is also Canadian, said he wished he could give Dion a "big hug."
