Fresh off her big Golden Globes win for American Horror Story: Hotel, Lady Gaga -- returning to her pop star roots -- is ready to take on one of the world's greatest stages.

Mother Monster will sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50 on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the NFL revealed on Tuesday. She'll be joined by Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin, who will perform the American Sign Language version of the song.

It's the second major Gaga performance news in less than 24 hours. Earlier on Tuesday, The Recording Academy announced that Gaga would pay tribute to the late David Bowie during the GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 15.

The 29-year-old pop star revealed earlier this month that she has full intentions of releasing a new album at some point this year.

"I am putting out an album this year," she told reporters backstage at the Globes. "I won't tell you when, but it is coming out this year."

Meanwhile, fellow Super Bowl 50 performer Beyonce -- who, as ET exclusively reported, will join Coldplay during the halftime show -- could also have new music in store.

Find out with ET's own NFL expert Kevin Frazier is "willing to bet" that Queen Bey will debut a new song of her own during Sunday's show in the video below.
