Don't look for Rihanna to take the stage at the 2016 GRAMMYs.

A rep for Rihanna confirms that sickness kept the ANTI singer from taking the stage during the awards show. She was supposed to perform "Kiss It Better."

"Based on Rihanna’s examination after Grammy rehearsals today, Rihanna's doctor put her on vocal rest for 48-hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords," the rep told ET in a statement. "The antibiotics she has been on for three days did not kill the infection adequately, therefore she cannot perform safely."

Rihanna apologized to her fans about the absence on Twitter, saying, "#NAVY so sorry I couldn't be there ..... Thanks Grammys and CBS for your support tonight."

Additionally, the GRAMMYs tweeted at Rihanna, "Get well soon!"

Rihanna took the stage Sunday night to honor Lionel Richie during the MusiCares Person of the Year dinner in Los Angeles.
