Jacqueline Laurita's Daughter Ashlee Holmes Gets Engaged, RHONJ Star Calls Herself a '#Smotherinlaw'
Another Housewives wedding is the works! Ashlee Holmes, the
25-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita,
got engaged on Thursday night to her longtime love, Pete Malleo.
“Today I asked my best friend to marry me and she said ‘yes’
@ashleenicholexx,” Malleo captioned a sweet photo of himself with his
bride-to-be standing outside with the New York skyline in the background.

The ecstatic Holmes shared the same photo on her Instagram
account, writing, “I said ‘yes’. Thank you for such an amazing day @c3peteo
…I’m so excited for this next chapter of our lives!”
Meanwhile, Holmes’ reality star mom couldn’t be more excited
for her little girl. She posted a photo of the newly engaged couple to her own
Instagram account, writing, “I woke up so happy today knowing my beautiful,
grown up, 25 year old daughter @ashleenicholexx will be in good hands with this
thoughtful, considerate, handsome, kind gentleman @c3peteo! #engaged #beautiful

Holmes certainly isn’t the first RHONJ kid to tie the knot. In
July 2015, Caroline Manzo’s daughter -- and Holmes’ cousin -- Lauren Manzo, wed
Vito Scalia, and Laurita was in attendance.
In addition to wedding bliss, the Jersey Housewives have
plenty to celebrate these days. Star Teresa Giudice was released from federal
prison in December and will return to the Bravo reality series when it
premieres later this year. Laurita, who also took a hiatus last season,
announced in a statement to Bravo, “I’m baaaaack! I can’t get enough of my
Bravo family! Sometimes a little break is all I need to jump back in and
bring my best! Looking forward to new beginnings.”
