Kailyn Lowry admits to having a miscarriage in the new trailer for 'Teen Mom 2.'
Kailyn Lowry has been hiding a heartbreaking part of her life. On Monday, the first trailer for the new season of Teen Mom 2 was released, in which the 23-year-old opens up about a painful secret she’s been keeping from her fans.
First it’s revealed that her husband, Javi Marroquin, is being deployed, and then Lowry says, “Knowing that he’s leaving and then on top of it, I had a miscarriage.”

The MTV cameras then cut to an emotional Marroquin, who says, “You know how much I wanted that baby.”
The couple already shares son Lincoln, 2, and Lowry is also mom to son Isaac, 6, with her ex, Jo Rivera.

On the last season of Teen Mom 2, Marroquin and Lowry struggled in their marriage, dealing with issues of jealously, as Marroquin did not want Lowry spending time with anyone but him. They ultimately were able to work through their issues and, according to this new trailer, were planning for another child.
Lowry isn’t the only one dealing with some tough topics this season. Her co-star, Leah Messer, is still fighting with her ex-husband, Corey Simms, over custody of their twin girls, while Jenelle Evans deals with more boy drama courtesy of her mom, Barbara Evans, and her new boyfriend, David Eason.
Teen Mom 2 premieres Monday, March 21 at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
